The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) is pleased to announce that the totally revamped website of the Freestyle Players Association (FPA) is now live at www.FreestyleDisc.org.

“We have completely revamped the website to modernize the feel and offer more of the features that we think everyone will use and love,” commented FPA at-large Board member Brian Boaté on the launch.  “Our hope is that this site will be the online hub for our favorite sport and to provide current news, exciting content and valuable tools for both our existing community and to attract new players as well. We encourage everyone to explore the site and to please feel free to send any issues and feedback to [email protected].  We will be adding additional features and content in the coming weeks.”

“I'd also like to give my thanks to everyone that has worked on and contributed to this project, including project team members Lisa Hunrichs, Larry Imperiale, and Amy Schiller, accompanied by the input, vision, and assistance from Arthur Coddington, James Wiseman, Claudio Cigna, as well as testing support from Bill Wright, Doug Korns and other members of the FPA Board.  Everyone's contributions were valuable and are deeply appreciated.”

“The launch of the FPA website is great news for the Flying Disc community and comes right in time for the promotion of Freestyle as one of the Flying Disc disciplines in the WFDF portfolio when we approach the IOC session in Kuala Lumpur end of July for the permanent recognition,” commented WFDF President Robert “Nob” Rauch.  “That will greatly help promote Freestyle among these circles too.”
